1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including: name, email address, building address, unit number, and verification documents when you create an account or submit content. We also collect complaint text, review ratings, community posts, and other content you submit to the Platform.
We automatically collect certain usage data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on the Platform, and referral URLs. This information is used to improve the Platform and is not sold individually.
2. Posting Identity Options
ResiLore offers three posting identity levels:
Anonymous
Your name and email are never shown publicly. Content is attributed to “Anonymous.” Your identity is retained internally and may be disclosed in response to valid legal process.
Verified Tenant
Your residency is verified but your name is not shown. Content displays your verification status. This gives your submissions more weight in the building score algorithm.
Named Submission
Your name is shown alongside your content. This is the highest-trust level and provides the most credibility to your submissions.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to: provide and improve the Platform; verify user identity; calculate building scores; send account-related notifications; respond to support requests; detect and prevent fraud; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Complaint and review content is retained indefinitely as part of the public record unless removed through our dispute process or at your request. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us at privacy@resilore.com. Deleted accounts result in anonymization of your submitted content within 30 days.
6. CCPA Rights (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how it is used; request deletion of your personal information; opt out of the sale of personal information (ResiLore does not sell personal information); and non-discrimination for exercising your rights. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@resilore.com.
7. GDPR Rights (EU Residents)
If you are located in the European Union, you have rights including: access to your personal data; rectification of inaccurate data; erasure (“right to be forgotten”); restriction of processing; data portability; and the right to object to processing. Our legal basis for processing your data is consent (for account creation) and legitimate interests (for security and fraud prevention). Contact privacy@resilore.com to exercise these rights.
9. Contact for Privacy Requests
For all privacy-related requests, please contact: privacy@resilore.com. We respond to all privacy requests within 30 days.
